![]() ![]() ![]() So reducing the volume of the planes recorded sound files with a sound file editor was the only way to get it balance-able. I once had to edit a freeware aircrafts engine sound files to reduce their volume because they were so loud they overshadowed other FSX environment sounds way too much and if I turned down the main PC volume so they were OK then other FSX sounds were too low and couldn't be heard. ![]() It's a balancing act making sure FSX default sounds don't overshadow Accu-Feel Sounds and visa versa.Īlso, many Non-default (payware and freeware) Aircrafts engine sounds don't use FSX sound channels so the FSX volume settings bars have absolutly no affect on their volume, only the main PC volume setting affects them which of course, if you turn that down, might make other FSX sounds too low. This is not a full explanation but I can tell you that Accu-Feel Sounds use a different channel, you can turn down all FSX sounds and still hear sounds from Accu-Feel. ![]()
